HELLO AND WELCOME
My name is Marina Broadley and my business, Leicester Telemarketing Company was launched to help the small business owner, self-employed and consultants with all aspects of internal selling.
I have over 20 years experience as an employed telemarketer within various sectors such as life and pensions, private medical insurance, recruitment and telecommunications.
I now work independently, enabling business owners to access a professional service on an 'as needed' basis.
Research (and experience) informs me of one thing very clearly. Internal sales teams and call centre environments are a plenty but there is very little else on offer. If you are looking for a call centre set up then you are looking at the wrong website. Working privately from home-office sets me apart from the rest.
With the maturity and capacity to work independently, without reliance on the bells and whistles, I offer a level of professionalism that is crucial to your business.
I'm authentic. There are no false claims so often suspected and detected in this business. At Leicester Telemarketing Company for instance there is no 'we'. I don't feel a need to promote the service as 'we'. I'm ok with being 'I'.
Equally I don't claim to be an all-knowing guru. But I am grounded, intuitive and have the capacity to develop effective sales conversations and to establish credible internal sales relationships.
I'm resiliant and psychologically robust.
Telelmarketing tends to be the kind of work that attracts young people. Over the years I've seen many gravitate towards internal sales, seemingly brimming with loud self-confidence. Sadly the external self-confident facade is often a defence against an internal fragile sense of self. And under pressure the defence can and does crumble. I'm resiliant and robust. My rigorous lengthy training in psychodynamic therapy saw to that.
There is no substitute for experience. 'We can't stand over a flower and make it grow Marina. There is no short-cut' - this wise statement will never leave me. Years ago as a psychodynamic therapy trainee and anxious to speed up the process, these words came from a highly experienced psychotherapist trainer. I didn't fully grasp this back then. I do now. The process of self-development, growth, maturity and experience simply cannot be hurried or taught. My years of experience in telemarketing simply can't be substituted.
